Here we go with rounding off a stellar year of cracking comedy in fine style for the festive season.
Seeing out the year for us are Matt Stellingwerf, Joey Page, Alex Kealey and headlined by Nick Pafe!
Do note that lines ups are subject to change
Alex Kealy
Alex Kealy is a stand-up comedian who mixes political material with self-deprecation and relatable observations. He reached the final of the prestigious ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ competition in his first year of performing.
A “rising star of the British stand-up scene” (The List) & writer for Mock The Week, Alex Kealy combines silliness and politics to forge “perfectly expressed gags” (Chortle).
“A must-see” ★★★★ Broadway baby
Joey Page
Joey has been hailed as the future of stand up and is storming the circuit with his trail blazing brand of ‘Indie Comedy’ that’s surreal and inventive. Joey’s enigmatic and charming presence brings about an instant rapport with his audiences. Every now and again you see a comedian like this who’s so wonderfully gifted he makes it all look effortless. The style and subject matter of his material is unlike that of any other out there, making him one of the most unique and memorable acts you will see. He’s also favourite of Noel Fielding (from The Mighty Boosh and Great British Bake Off) and as a result has supported him on tour.
“Really Good, Proper Funny” Ronnie Wood
“Surreal, charming and hilarious, one of comedy’s most unique and exciting new talents. This innately likeable young man has an instinct for funny” Chortle
“A stylish comedian with a sonic imagination and a twinkle in his eye” Noel Fielding
Nick Page
Nick’s comedy has taken him all over the world, with performances in (wait for it) France, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Austria, Cyprus, Egypt, Turkey, Crete, China, The Philippines, Hong Kong, Afghanistan, Oman, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Spain, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, The Czech Republic, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Singapore, Vietnam, Bali, Indonesia, Malaysia and Russia.
Nick was a semi-finalist in I.T.V.’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and won ‘The English Comedian of the Year’ 2017. His debut Edinburgh Festival show had sell-out performances, critical acclaim and a host of 4 star reviews. He is in enormous demand in comedy clubs throughout the UK, as a headline act and MC, and we’re delighted that we’ve been able to get him for the Pump Rooms tonight!
Matt Stellingwerf
Matt Stellingwerf has risen to the top in his native New Zealand having won their prestigious ‘Comedy Guild Award’ four times. Now based in the UK he’s taking the comedy world by storm.
‘Raises the comedy bar… an erudite satire superstar!’ Theatrereview
‘Thor and Wendy had a baby, and it was raised by Stephen Fry & George Carlin!’ Random (but totally awesome and correct) Twitter User
Please note there is a £2 ticket commission fee included in the price of the ticket.
